For my latest university project i was told to illustrate the Paradise Motel by Eric McCormack. It was a novel from 1989 that has since gone out of print. It is hard to place a genre to the book but it is something between horror and mystery. It is packed full with great imagery for me to draw so it was a very good book.
This drawing shows Lundt's suicide. An office worker deeply in love tries to set up the prosecution of a colleague who hit on his crush. When he realises that his plan had failed he put the gun to his head. The gun is a black Beretta and he was obsessed with its design, in fact he had stolen it from the aforementioned colleague.
Note:I haven't put a mature filter on this but if anyone thinks that I should then I will, no problem.
