For my final project in my first year at uni I created a diary from the perspective of the Zodiac killer who committed a series of murders in California . In order to get my facts straight I watched a lot of documentaries and read a lot of information online about the case. I also watched the movie by David Fincher with Jake Gyllenghaal, Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr. but didn't want to take everything it in as fact.

I tried to make it as in depth as possible following the events of the case and psychological reasons the Zodiac would do the things he did. It is thought that he looked at Egyptian philosophy and kept squirrels. I have included things such as replica letters he sent to the San Francisco Chronicle and a piece of Paul Stine's shirt. (The taxi driver that he murdered).

I've had people say that it might be worth selling it but I'm sure whether or not I would want to at the moment but please let me know what you think about my work and feel free to ask any questions.

Materials: Cover made from leather jacket, card inserts covered in patterned paper, leather bound with tea stained paper and recreated polaroids attached via paperclip. Journal also contains replica shirt and letter.
