I need to write more journals, I would like to do one a month but because I don't have the brain of a writer I often put off doing these because I probably won't structure what I'm talking about in a way that makes sense or even in a logical order. However, I am no longer going to let this put me off so read if you like or just ignore it.
I have been working a lot, I still have the full time job at the art shop/picture framers. I actually just framed the elephant drawing that I did and I'm pretty happy with how that turned out. Work takes up so much of my time and by the time I get home I have often run out of energy to do the things that I want to do. I haven't really used any holiday this year so I could take a lot of time off and I think I should probably use it some time soon.
I've also been taking driving lessons, a 2 hour lesson every week. I'm coming up to doing my test soon so that will be exciting. I will probably start looking for a new job soon after passing but I feel slightly conflicted because I dont want another job that takes up all my time. I wish it was possible to work 4 days a week, that would be so nice!
I really want a pug, so much! Can't get one til I have my own place though, which will take a while!
I feel like I need to find the right balance of doing artwork because I feel like I need some time to think and make evaluations between each piece but I want to be producing a lot more than I currently am.
I joined an art collective founded by one of my uni friends
and we are getting that off the ground. Just trying to get a cool little group of hardworking artists we like together.
Social wise I have had some nice dates with my girlfriend recently although I would like to see her more often if I could. I also saw my uni friends which was pretty fun. two of them had fallen out around a year ago so it was cool to have the full squad back together again.
Literally every paragraph so far has started with "I" lol.
Let me know in the comments how you all are and also what you would like to see from my art in the future. That would be very interesting for me to hear!
